The Dance School.

Cha Cha Dance Company was originally a dance events company but is now a dance school and events company. The vision behind Cha Cha Dance Company is to create a platform for dance events, choreography and teachers as well as teaching children to dance.

Like any new business venture, Cha Cha Dance Company presented numerous obstacles which has led it to become the brand it is today within the local dance industry. In Feb 2017, just shy of Cha Cha Dance Company opening its doors, we held several workshops which in turn allowed us to host two international dances Nadiah Idris from Paris and Mona Wilkens from Denmark.

Cha Cha Dance Company not only encourages students to reach their full potential as a dancer but also create an atmosphere where students get to know each other and build lifelong friendships by hosting teambuilding events. Cha Cha Dance Company affords you the opportunity to showcase your hard work and dedication by partaking in the following dance competitions. With these competitions made available to the Cha Cha Dance Company, students can create their own futures in the dance industry.

About Us

Strong. Active. Graceful.

Sasha Benjamin started her first dance class at the age of 5 years old and is now fully trained in contemporary and African dance. She also trained and competed in Hip Hop and Latin American dance. She has a history of teaching at Silver leaf Dance School, Dance Craft, Montagues Gift Primary and DF Malan High School, theatre productions and partaking in some music videos. She has also been afforded the opportunity to teach and dance at Hot stepper Denmark and sports club Sarpsborg, Norway.
At the age of 15, Sasha started her own Hip Hop crew during High School. This was the start of her ambition to opening her own dance school. Today she is a qualified dancer teacher (UCT dance teachers’ diploma). She started her own dance company in February 2017 and is also working full time in the Shipping industry. As an upcoming entrepreneur, Sasha has managed to grow this establishment into what it is today, due to hard work, determination and with the love and support of her family and friends, dancers and students.
The Cha Cha Dance Company is not only a business but a true passion in every sense of the word. Even though the dance school is new to the scene, we don’t only strive to be the best but to have a positive influence and impact on our society through our interpretation of dance.
